My name is Alexandra Foster and I am a photographer that utilizes alternative processes to explore the concepts of time, loss, and the preservation of memory. By using symbols and naturally decomposing elements, I find myself studying the decay of living and artificial objects. I received my BFA in Photography with a minor in communications from the University of Colorado Denver. When I’m not documenting live events such as concerts, I use analog photography, cyanotypes, and salted paper printing to display my hometown of Denver and the surroundings around me.
